1) It is made of hand lay-up fiberglass or continuously-made fiberglass skin

2) Competitive in weight, as well as offering superior performance in stiffness and
strength, particularly where local crushing or bruising is a concern; it has been developed using varying thicknesses of poly honeycomb sandwiched between two layers of 3mm to 12mm thickness fiberglass solid plate bonded to each side of the honeycomb; by using polyfoam as a core material, the cost can be favorably compared to more conventional construction materials and typical weight is less than50%
